Wondering what Angelina Jolie wore on her wedding day? Check her wedding dress out in PEOPLE magazine's September issue cover.

The nuptials between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, August 23, took the world by surprise. As people start getting used to the fact that the hottest couple in Hollywood are finally married, a lot of curiosity still lingers around what the stunning actress wore as she said her vows. The wait is finally over! Fans can now see Jolie in her wedding dress of the cover of PEOPLE magazine's September issue. Though the issue is yet to hit newsstands, PEOPLE shared a picture of the photo shoot with a sneak peek into the new Mrs. Pitt's interview.

According to People, the dress was put together by Luigi Massi, the master tailor at Atelier Versace.

"Luigi is like family to me and I couldn't imagine anyone else making this dress," said Jolie. "He knows and cares for the children and it was great fun putting it together."

The couple was engaged for more than two years before tying the knot. Jolie and Pitt are parents to six children and think the world of them.

"You know, I think the important thing is that whatever we do it's that the kids do have a great time, and we all-you know, take seriously the love, and the connection between all of us. But also just get silly and do something memorable," the actress said.

Recently, the actress spoke to ELLE magazine about growing up in a broken home. She admitted that she never thought she'd ever fall in love or have kids. According to her, such things happened only in fairy tales and her life as a child was nothing like that.

Jolie also said that coming from a broken home also instilled in her the desire to ensure that her children never have to worry or be pressurized into doing anything. That's probably the reason why both she and Pitt never portray film making as good or bad in front of the kids. Though she prefers her children find careers other than acting, she has no reservations if they do take to the film industry.

Jolie and Pitt have been busy with projects since 2012. Pitt had a memorable awards season this year, with his film "12 Years a Slave" taking home the Oscar for Best Picture. He shot the World War II drama "Fury" in London in late 2013, while Jolie simultaneously directed the WWII film "Unbroken" on location in Australia.

Recently, Jolie made headlines after she revealed that she had undergone a preventive double mastectomy last year. She said that her decision to be open about the surgery came from her desire to let other women become more aware of breast cancer and the ways high-risk women can prevent being affected by the disease.

Recent media reports said that after the grand success of their 2005 film "Mr. and Mrs. Smith", the couple will soon be starring in another film together. The script for the untitled film has been penned by none other than Jolie herself. No further details about the plot of the story or which studio will produce it have been revealed.

In a recent interview with Extra, Jolie termed the upcoming project as "very experimental."

"It's not a big movie, not an action movie. It's the kind of movie we love, but aren't often cast in," she said. "It's a very experimental, independent type film where we get to be actors together and be really raw, open, try things."
