Kate Upton is one of several celebrities dealing with a nude photo scandal after a hacker (or hackers) leaked private images said to belong to some of Hollywood's hottest stars. The risqué images started making the rounds Sunday, Aug. 31.

According to BuzzFeed, the leak was traced back to a thread on 4chan and the original leaker threatened to release even more photos and videos. Reportedly the anonymous poster has over 60 private photos of "The Hunger Games" actress Jennifer Lawrence.

Lawrence's rep confirmed that the photos do belong to the actress and said that authorities have already been contacted. Upton's rep released a statement to E! News, saying, "This is obviously an outrageous violation of our client Kate Upton's privacy. We intend to pursue anyone disseminating or duplicating these illegally obtained images to the fullest extent possible."

According to E!, a woman who resembles Upton is seen covering her bare chest with a hand while other photos are naked selfies of the Sports Illustrated model and her boyfriend Justin Verlander. Other names mentioned in the leak include Ariana Grande, Victoria Justice, Kim Kardashian, Kirsten Dunst, Hope Solo, Krysten Ritter, Yvonne Strahovski, Teresa Palmer, Mary Kate Olsen, Rihanna, Gabrielle Union and Cara Delevigne, among others.

Actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who was also mentioned on a master list, already confirmed the photos are legit.

"Knowing those photos were deleted long ago, I can only imagine the creepy effort that went into this. Feeling for everyone who got hacked. To those of you looking at photos I took with my husband years ago in the privacy of our home, hope you feel great about yourselves."

Victoria Justice quickly took to Twitter to deny the authenticity of the photos said to be of her.

"These so called nudes of me are FAKE people. Let me nip this in the bud right now. *pun intended*," she tweeted.

According to BuzzFeed, the hack was due to an iCloud leak that allowed the hacker(s) access to victims' storage accounts. So far no arrests have been made in regards to the leak.
