The Atlantic's third hurricane of the season, Cristobal, is headed towards Bermuda, according to AccuWeather.

Cristobal will impact Bermuda directly, as it tracks east of the U.S. and is expected to unload up to 4 inches of rain on the island, the Associated Press reported.

"We expect Cristobal to remain east of the United States, but bring some wind and rain to Bermuda," said AccuWeather Hurricane expert Dan Kottlowski.

Cristobal brought heavy rains to the Atlantic and Caribbean islands, which caused flooding and the deaths of at least five people.

Though the U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami said Cristobal will most likely skip making contact with the U.S. Eastern Seaboard, it will still cause harsh conditions for most of the East, according to AP.

In the U.S., AccuWeather says strong rip currents and rough surf will be present from Florida to North Carolina and Virginia until Wednesday.

Those conditions will be felt Wednesday to Thursday from Maryland and Delaware to New Jersey, New England and New York, AccuWeather reported. Long Island to Nova Scotia will get the rough conditions on Friday.

AccuWeather suggests that swimmers only go into the ocean when lifeguards are present.

The Bahamas and Turks and Caicos also experienced Cristobal's wrath, with Turks and Caicos getting 12 inches of rain and one person dying.

In the Dominican Republic, two men died from flood waters, as did two people in Haiti. About 640 families in Haiti were left temporarily homeless after the hurricane, AP reported.
