Rapper Young Jeezy was arrested on Monday, Aug. 25 after police officers found an assault rifle on his tour bus. According to TMZ, police are looking into the fatal shooting of a man backstage at a Wiz Khalifa concert on Aug. 22.

The unidentified man was shot five times and died from his injuries. Because Jeezy is on tour with Khalifa, police got a search warrant on the rapper's tour bus and found the rifle during their investigation.

According to TMZ, police believe the assault rifle belongs to Jeezy, who is currently in jail with a $1,000,000 bail. Several of the rapper's entourage was also arrested for gun possession. According to a previous report by TMZ, Khalifa was still on stage performing when shots rang out backstage.

Sources told the site that two men were seen arguing in a dark hallway when shots were fired. Police don't believe the shooter or the victim have any connection to the "Black and Yellow" rapper and so far police have not located the shooter.

There was another shooting over the weekend that involved pop star Chris Brown and rap mogul Suge Knight. According to reports, Brown was hosting a pre-VMA party at 1OAK nightclub in West Hollywood, Ca. when shots rang out. Suge was shot six times  -once in the arm and five times in the stomach - and was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery.

An unidentified man and woman were also injured during the shooting and was treated at a local hospital. Details surrounding the incident have been sketchy but some reports claim that Brown was the intended target, not Knight.

TMZ also reported that police believe the shooting may be gang related and are looking for a connection between Knight, Brown and The Game, who was reportedly turned away at the party. All three are believed to have strong ties to the Bloods gang.
