As Amanda Bynes' downfall continues, the latest includes a Twitter attack on model Chrissy Teigen, her parents are beginning to fear the worst for their daughter.

According to Perez Hilton, the 27-year-old actress' parents have begun to fear that their daughter has schizophrenia. A source revealed to the website that, "For years, since Amanda was a teenager, she exhibited distressing behavior. Amanda has heard voices for years, and was concerned she was being spied on via smoke alarms, and clocks in her home. She would cover electronic items because Amanda believed that was the only way she wouldn't be spied on. It's extremely sad situation because Amanda just refuses to get help."

Bynes, was arrested last Thursday night for marijuana possession and disposing of evidence. The troubled star is set to return to court sometime in July.

Bynes' parents have also reportedly attempted to get conservatorship over their young daughter, as previously reported.

"Rick & Lynn have met with several lawyers that handle conservatorships in the past month, because they want to get a conservatorship of their daughter," the source explained. "They have been advised that even as disturbing as Amanda's behavior is, it's very unlikely that a judge would sign off on a temporary conservatorship."

Bynes went to her Twitter Tuesday night and tweeted that she would be suing TMZ for posting fake broken bong photos and went onto attacked Chrissy Teigen.

She tweeted: "@chrissyteigen Ur not a pretty model compared to me. I signed to Ford models @ age 13. I don't look up to u beauty wise. I'm far prettier than u! I'm offended that you're saying I have a mental illness when I show no sign of it, but thankfully not one man that wants me wants you and you are an old ugly model compared to me! You look 45! You're not pretty so I'm not intimidated by you! I think you're jealous that you're just an ugly model whos career is uninspiring! I don't respect you! You're no beauty queen! I'm a beauty queen!"

Tiegen has not made a response to the actress yet.
