Angelina Jolie has collaborated with French designer Christian Louboutin to create a new pair of heels that will be available in stores shortly.

At every red carpet event during "Maleficent's" premieres, Angelina Jolie donned a unique pair of heels.

These shoes were personalized heels created by Christian Louboutin in his Paris atelier, according to WWD. The French designer took to Instagram to announce that he had "joined forces" with Jolie to create Malangeli, a ruby red patent and mesh pump inspired by the actress' Disney role.

"It is exciting to work with someone who has such a strong aesthetic and character," commented Louboutin to WWD.

"Getting to know Angelina through a fun collaboration has been one of my greatest pleasures."

Louboutin describes the sculptured wedges as having a "tendril of smoke" curling up the heel, WWD reports.

Available in red or black patent leather, the shoes can be preordered from October 20 at Louboutin's flagships in New York, Hollywood, Calif., London, Hong Kong and Paris, with profits going to benefit SOS Children's Villages, which aid orphaned and abandoned children.

During the "Maleficent" launch, Jolie teamed up with Stella McCartney to create a capsule collection of children's clothing. The collection, titled Maleficent by Stella McCartney Kids, was again inspired by the actress' movie, "Maleficent," which was Disney's revival of "Sleeping Beauty."

The collection, created for children between the ages four and 14, featured eight styles for girls and boys ranging from T-shirts and princess dresses to sneakers and sandals. Prices for items in the collection ranged from about $75 to $185.

"I've always been a huge fan of Disney growing up, as was my mother, and I grew up watching all the films like most kids did," McCartney said at that time. "When the opportunity presented itself, and I was invited by Angelina Jolie to visit the film set, I jumped at the chance."
