Los Angeles Clippers president and coach Doc Rivers is pushing to reunite with veteran free agent Ray Allen.  The Clippers also reportedly are eying free agents Greg Oden, Andrew Bynum and Andray Blatche to add depth in the frontcourt.

Allen is quietly becoming the hottest free agent left on the market.  He purportedly has a number of offers - including from the Clippers, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Dallas Mavericks - but is taking his time in assessing his future, with retirement also being an option.

While Cleveland seemingly is the strongest contender, boasting former teammate and friend LeBron James and a championship-caliber roster, Allen reportedly is being pitched by his former mentor, Rivers.

"A lot have called; Doc called earlier in the summer," Allen told the Boston Herald.

Marcus Bass of Fansided.com also confirmed the Clippers were making a push for Allen.

Allen, though, indicated money could be a factor in convincing him to sign somewhere.

"A lot of teams want to be able to get me at the veteran's minimum," he said.  "I still have an ego, too.  I still have a service to provide, and teams still have to pay me what I feel my presence is worth.  I have to take that into consideration, if it's worth putting my body through what it will take over 82 games."

Los Angeles has other targets in free agency, too.  ESPN Radio's Jorge Sedano reported the Clippers are looking to bolster their frontcourt rotation.

"Clippers to work out back up centers this week.  Names that will come (through): Andray Blatche, Greg Oden, Andrew Bynum (and) Emeka Okafor," Sedano tweeted Monday night.

While free agency is one concern for the Clippers, the organization still is dealing with the Donald Sterling ordeal.  Rivers and Clippers star Chris Paul discussed a possible boycott if Sterling isn't removed as owner by the start of the season.
