Talk about intense! AMC released the first official trailer for Season 5 of "The Walking Dead" and it left our hearts racing! So much happened in that three minute clip: Beth is alive; "badass" Rick is back; there were walkers everywhere and Gareth is crazy and shouldn't be trusted.

The trailer began with Rick Grimes and Co. still trapped in a train car at Terminus. Rick utters the same words from the Season 4 finale: "They're screwing with the wrong people," referring to the people of Terminus (which have been rumored to be cannibals).

If you're like us, you have already watched the trailer about five different times. To help fans process all the exciting hints the trailer tossed at us, HNGN gathered up the top 5 things you might have missed:

1. It was already revealed that the group escapes Terminus but it wasn't revealed how. In one clip, it looks like Terminus was destroyed. There's walkers and fires everywhere, so maybe Rick Grimes and the others caused some serious trouble. Or maybe they (meaning Bob) bargained for a way out? Did you guys catch how Bob gives up the secret that they are traveling with Eugene Porter, who has a "cure" to end the zombie apocalypse? In another scene Gareth creepily tells Rick he has a choice to make. Later Gareth is seen traveling with the group.

2. They stumble upon a church for shelter, we presume, and this could be where Father Gabriel Stokes is introduced. FYI: AMC finally confirmed Seth Gilliam was cast as the troubled priest.

3. Rick is holding baby Judith, so we know Carol, Tyreese and the baby safely make it to Terminus.

4. Beth is alive but isn't in the best of situations. In the trailer, she is at a spooky hospital with some pretty weird people. At one point, it looks like she is assisting someone cut the arm off of someone else at the hospital.

5. Glenn could actually die this season. There have been rumors that Maggie's lover could meet his maker and the trailer definitely hinted at it. At the 2:20 mark, he's tied up and gagged and it appears that someone is standing behind with a bat. Could it be Negan? Earlier today rumors surfaced that Negan would definitely be in Season 5 and in the comics, he's the one who kills Glenn.

Season 5 of "The Walking Dead" premieres Oct. 12 on AMC.
