Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s DC project doesn’t have a writer attached to their production.

During an interview with the “Today” show, Johnson teased he Warner Bros. project, claiming fans have to wait a little bit longer before the big reveal.

“It is going to happen,” Johnson said. “I’ve been dying to announce it, by the way, but we still have to find the right writer, we’re hearing two or three takes right now, but I’m very, very excited about it. I’ve been waiting a long time for this, and so have the fans, by the way.”

Johnson recently spoke about his new DC role during an interview with TotalFilm. Many reports claim the actor accidentally let a major detail about his character slip during the interview.

“There’s a character out there that we’re going to announce soon” Johnson said. “He has the power of Superman. And it’s not the Green Lantern by the way. Believe me – Jon Stewart – he is a character who I wanted to play, but there was already a version of Green Lantern, and so now we’ve gone in a slightly different direction. But this character has the power of Superman. He can throw down…Just say the word. That’s all I’m going to say.”

According to IGN, Johnson’s new DC role is none other than “Shazam.” The major clue was when the actor claimed “just say the word.” Once Shazam says his name, the character goes from Billy Batson to DC hero.

Warner Bros. could be waiting to announce the “Shazam” film during San Diego Comic Con International. Nikki Finke reported back in June Warner Bros. will be announcing the following film lineup during Comic Con:

May 2016 - Batman v Superman
July 2016 - Shazam
Xmas 2016 - Sandman
May 2017 - Justice League
July 2017 - Wonder Woman
Xmas 2017 - Flash and Green Lantern team-up
May 2018 - Man Of Steel 2

However, Warner Bros. have yet to comment about the allegedly leaked lineup.
