Smart TV solutions company Sling Media introduced Tuesday two new TV streaming devices designed to help people easily access their favorite programs.

One of these new devices is the Slingbox M1, which is now the company's smallest and cheapest set top box, according to The Verge. While the M1 is smaller than its predecessor, the $179.99 Slingbox 350, it offers additional features like Wi-Fi connectivity.

The set top box is priced at $149.99 and will be available to customers on July 20th.

The Slingbox M1 allows consumers to use a SlingPlayer app to control live TV on a smartphone, tablet or computer. Users can also play and schedule DVR recordings and watch cable programs on another TV that is connected to a Roku or Apple TV device, TechRadar UK reported.

The SlingPlayer app for desktop has also been improved to provide the service in about 10 minutes. Thanks to Sling, users can also now arrange a new M1 with the iOS and Android mobile apps.

The second device unveiled by Sling is the new SlingTV, which is an updated version of the Slingbox 500, TechCrunch reported. The $300 box, like the Slingbox M1, can be used to stream live and pre-recorded TV shows on other devices.

SlingTV also comes with a new visual interface that provides access to Rotten Tomatoes ratings for movies and highlights, scores and stats for sports.

Users will also be recommended programs based on popularity, reviews, and activities on social networks, The Verge reported. SlingTV works with a variety of apps, including Blockbuster Video, an app from Dish TV, and an app for browsing content on an external drive. While Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Instant Video are currently not featured for the device, Sling said it plans to add more apps to the platform as soon as possible.

SlingTV is scheduled to be available to users in late August.
