Jenny McCarthy spoke candidly about her exit from ABC’s “The View” during an interview on the “Howard Stern Show.”

McCarthy claimed she didn’t feel like “The View” was setting her up to be her best self, according to The Wrap. The former Playboy model became a cohost back in July 2013.

“I'll tell you something Howard,” McCarthy said. “It's like halfway into [my tenure on "The View"], it was probably around February, I went, ‘God I'm not allowed to be the best of me here.’ I feel like to have a voice, to be able to speak without having to interrupt people … It's very difficult, and I don't like doing it, it's very uncomfortable, so I felt like, ‘You know what? Maybe this is just a stepping stone for me to go somewhere where I can actually be my full self.'”

McCarthy claimed she would have to be ultra conservative in order to stay at the table with comedian and actress Rosie O’Donnell. Stern asked if McCarthy if any famous faces were invited to her wedding with to New Kids on the Block's Donnie Wahlberg.

“Sherri Shepherd will be the only one [celebrity invited] possibly if she can make it,” McCarthy said. “I hate celebrities.”

Though McCarthy spoke with candor during her interview with Stern, the former co-host gave a different speech when announcing her exit.

"After much consideration, I've taken a new job that will allow me to do what I do best, which is talk without having to interrupt anyone," McCarthy said. "I will be announcing it in the next few weeks, and I couldn't be more grateful. Stay tuned, even if it does compete with The View."

McCarthy has since announced she will be hosting a SiriusXM radio show.
