Selena Gomez is definitely looking a little bustier these days leading many fans to speculate whether she had a boob job. The 21-year-old singer was spotted out and about in New York City on July 9 wearing ripped jeans, a sheer black tank top (sans bra) and a cardigan.

Gomez looked comfortable and relaxed as she left The Bedford on Wednesday but all eyes were on her fuller and perky chest. Was she trying to send ex Justin Bieber a message? It's not clear if the "Slow Down" singer did in fact go under the knife, but a source previously told Hollywood Life that she was considering breast implants because she wanted to be sexier for Bieber.

Reportedly, Gomez was afraid of losing the "Boyfriend" singer and thought a bigger chest would keep his attention.

"Selena is putting a huge amount of pressure on herself to be sexy because she's afraid of losing Justin," the source told Hollywood Life. "She feels like she needs to be the hottest girl in the world to keep his attention. She's studied every girl that he hooked up with while they were broken up, at least the ones she knows about, and compared herself to them down to every last detail."

"For God knows what reason, Selena has really low self-esteem," the source continued. "She has a long list of things she thinks she could improve as far as her appearance. Even though she's so beautiful she sees all kind of flaws when she looks in the mirror... She's been asking people if they think she should get her boobs done because all the girls he was with have bigger boobs than her."

It was recently rumored that Gomez and Bieber split again after getting into a fight right before Scooter Braun's wedding. According to reports, Bieber didn't invite the singer to his manager's nuptials in Canada because he feared it would turn into a paparazzi fest and would take away from Braun's special day.

Apparently, Gomez didn't understand that and was upset that she never got an invite. Following the split, Bieber's gal pal, fitness model Yovanna Ventura, has been posting photos to Instagram of the two hanging out.

"Sweetest guy ever @justinbieber," she captioned a photo of the pair leaning in towards each other for a selfie.
