Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are getting serious about their relationship and their religion. The two lovebirds were spotted getting "lovey dovey" at a Bible study class in Los Angeles, according to US Weekly.

A source told the magazine that Bieber and Gomez "came and left together with a few friends" and were completely "smitten with each other."

"He looks so happy and at peace," the source told the magazine, adding that the 20-year-old pop star sat by Gomez the entire time.

Bieber confirmed that he was at the event by posting a picture of his pastor speaking onstage with the caption, "Bible study with Judah Smith."

The couple, who first started dating in 2010, was last spotted on Monday, June 16 celebrating a friend's birthday at Bootsy Bellows in Los Angeles. TMZ first reported about the "Boyfriend" singer's turn to religion last month claiming that he was baptized following the release of two videos where a younger Bieber is seen making offensive comments about African Americans.

A source told TMZ that Bieber had scouted New York City churches to have the baptism at but decided to have his pastor, Carl Lentz, perform it in a friend's bathtub because the news kept getting leaked.

Bieber and Gomez have dated off and on for years but it seems like this time the two are determined to make things work. According to Hollywood Life, the couple is thinking about buying a getaway house together in Mexico.

A source told the site that Bieber wants to prove to Gomez that he is putting his bad boy ways behind him and told the "Slow Down" singer that he "wants to eventually buy a house together. Like a getaway vacation house."

"Justin has told her that he's changing his ways and she totally supports him and feels like he's finally grown out of that bad boy phase," the source said. "So they are both in a really healthy and positive place right now."
