Unofficial reports confirm that Samsung's next generation phablet - Galaxy Note 4 - might have a 5.7-inch Quad HD display with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.

Samsung is just a few months away from launching its next generation Note phablet - a successor to its premium Galaxy Note 3. New reports have already outlined the possible features of the new gadget. Several media reports have confirmed that the Galaxy Note 4, like its predecessor, will carry a 5.7-inch display and according to information posted online, the next Galaxy Note model will sport a Quad HD display.

The information comes from a reliable source, which is deemed second to the official confirmation from Samsung itself. The Korean tech giant posted a web profile for SM-N910A that links to the Galaxy Note 3's successor. Samsung's AT&T version of Note 3 had a model number SM-N900A. This means that the new User Agent Profile listing on the company's mobile website is for the unannounced Galaxy Note 4 model on AT&T's network.

Other reports have also shown that the Galaxy Note 4 will likely come in two variants, one with a standard flat display and the other with a curved OLED screen. But, the curved model will be limited to only a selected few markets. If reports of the two Note 4 variants are true, then it becomes tougher to guess as to which model Samsung is referring to as N910A on its website.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was also listed on an Indian import tracking site, Zauba, confirming the 5.7-inch display and a single SIM option. The product dated June 10 was being shipped for testing and evaluation purposes and not for sale.

In addition to a sharper display, the Galaxy Note 4 will be powered by an Exynos 5433 CPU in some markets and by the Snapdragon 805 in others, stated an earlier report from Sam Mobile. Other details include a UV sensor on the front, 16-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization and a Sony IMX240 sensor. The front side of the phablet will feature a 2-megapixel shooter, according to media reports.
