Samsung Group and Spotify are working together to make Samsung's Shape Wireless Audio Multiroom support Spotify Connect.

The partnership makes the Multiroom app the first product to support music from Spotify Connect to more than two speakers, according to PC Magazine. The team-up gives over 10 million Spotify Premium users the ability to use the Spotify mobile app to control their Samsung speakers.

Different promotions for online and offline users will also be offered by the South Korean company.

"More than ever before, Samsung is giving consumers seamless ways to better integrate sound and music in their daily lives," said Eric Jung, vice president of Samsung's visual display business.

The update applies not only to Shape M7, Shape M5 and other Samsung Shape speakers, but also to Blu-ray players, sound bars, and other components that work with Shape, CNET reported.

Samsung first announced its intent to add Spotify in March. Spotify's stream of music from Pandora, Amazon Cloud Player, Tuneln Radio, and Rhapsody makes it a huge addition to the platform.

The Multiroom app can be downloaded for free to control the speakers, which could be done easily through a plug-and-play installation process, MarketWatch reported.

Consumers can also use the Shape M5 and Shape M7 to pair their phones through NFC functionality. All they have to do is tap their smartphone to the Shape speaker to play music instantly from their mobile devices.

The Shape Wireless speakers were last year. Samsung introduced several new options to build on the system earlier this year, PC Magazine reported.

Jung said Spotify's premium streaming music service "gives our customers more options to connect to and customize their favorite music, taking the listening experience to the next level."

Spotify offered a summer sale earlier this week to its Premium service users. Customers can get ads-free, on-demand music for the whole summer for $10.
