Robin Thicke hasn't given up on his wife, or his music.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the R&B singer will release his seventh album on July 1, with all songs written and produced by Thicke. The announcement follows Thicke's public plea for a reunion with his estranged wife, Paula Patton.

During Sunday's Billboard Music Awards the singer, songwriter and producer took the stage to sing his latest hit, "Get Her Back" - a song about winning the heart of his wife of eight years and high school sweetheart. The two announced their separation in February 2014.

"I gotta get it through, get it through, get it through, get her back / I gotta treat her right, I gotta cherish her for life," Thicke sings before ending the performance on his knees, pleading, before walking off with a big smile.

"Get Her Back" is also the lead single off his upcoming album. Before his Billboard Music Awards performance, Thicke enlisted that help of his fans to help him win Patton back.

During his acceptance speech for Top R&B Song, the singer kindly thanked his wife, staying "Most importantly I'd like to thank my wife for her love and support and for putting up with me for all these years."

The singer also took home Top Hot 100 Song, Top Digital Song, Top Radio Song and Top R&B Song for his chart-topping collaboration with Pharrell Williams and T.I. Thicke also performed his single on NBC's "The Voice" season finale Tuesday night with winning contestant Josh Kaufman.

The new album arrives just one year after Thicke's "Blurred Lines" album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, making it his first number one album. His song "Blurred Lines," spent 12 weeks at the top of Billboard's Hot 100 list, and also became the most-played summer jam of 2013.
