The 2013 Oscars wrapped up a couple of months ago, yet there is already a bunch of Oscar buzz over several films and Nicole Kidman's "Grace Kelly" is at the front of the pack.

The 45-year old actress took on the role to play Grace Kelly in a biopic.

"I got to know Grace really well, researched her, and fell in love with her," Kidman said before meeting with Steven Spielberg and the other jurors of the Cannes Film Festival.

This is not Kidman's first role to receive Oscar Buzz. She was nominated for Best Lead Actress for her roles in "Rabbit Hole" and "Moulin Rouge" and took home the Oscar in 2002 for her role as Virginia Woolf in "The Hours." It marked the first time an Australian ever won an Academy award.

Harvey Weinstein touted "Grace of Monaco" and other potential films for the Oscar race including "August: Osage County" staring Academy Award winners Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep as well as "The Butler" which stars Forrest Whitaker and Oprah Winfrey.

The 2014 Oscars will take place in March 2014 as it was pushed back due to NBC's Winter Olympic Coverage.
