Disney's latest featurette for the upcoming "Maleficent" film showcases the creatures living in the title character's enchanted forest.

There are Tree Warriors, Water Fairies, a Forest Dragon and more that keeps those attempting to invade the villain's land at bay. However, theses creatures are no matches for the shapeshifter Diaval.

Diaval is Maleficent's faithful servant whom she can change into whatever she wants. Diaval's main form is a crow, but can turn into a man, a horse and much more.

"[Diaval] is a bird and he is everybody's fantasy best friend," Angelina explained to Disney's Movie Surfers. "[Maleficent] can turn Diaval into anything she wants including a man, but he always morphs into something that's strangely bird-like. He's a great wingman."

Maleficent can also be considered a creature of the forest. The Disney villain once had wings only rivaled with her magic. You can watch the "Creatures" featurette in the video below.

"Maleficent" officially hits theaters on May 30. She may look evil, but Maleficent wasn't always so cold. Disney's live-action "Sleeping Beauty" dives into the back-story of the beloved villain. Check out Disney's official film synopsis below:

"'Maleficent' is the untold story of Disney's most iconic villain from the 1959 classic 'Sleeping Beauty.' A beautiful, pure-hearted young woman, Maleficent has an idyllic life growing up in a peaceable forest kingdom, until one day when an invading army threatens the harmony of the land. Maleficent rises to be the land's fiercest protector, but she ultimately suffers a ruthless betrayal-an act that begins to turn her pure heart to stone. Bent on revenge, Maleficent faces an epic battle with the invading king's successor and, as a result, places a curse upon his newborn infant Aurora. As the child grows, Maleficent realizes that Aurora holds the key to peace in the kingdom-and perhaps to Maleficent's true happiness as well."
