It's only been almost five months since the death of Paul Walker and his longtime girlfriend, Jasmine Pilchard Gosnell, is having a very difficult time coping. Her father, Casey Gosnell, said the 23-year-old student is now in grief counseling to help her come to terms with Walker's death, the Daily Mail reports.

Walker, 40, died in a car crash last November in California.

"I have her in grief counseling," her father told the Daily Mail. "You have to understand that she is still terribly wounded by Paul's death and will be for a long time."

Gosnell and Walker began dating when she 16-years-old; he was 33 at the time. The young student helped raise Walker's 15-year-old daughter and at the time of his Gosnell and Walker were living together in Los Angeles.

Gosnell has yet to publicly speak about her boyfriend's death but she does often reference him on Facebook posts, the Daily Mail reports.

Recently she posted a photo of her walking their dogs with the caption, "I walk the streets of one." A few months ago, Gosnell wrote a message to the late actor telling him that she missed him and would always love him.

"Every day, in some small way, memories of you come our way. Though absent, you are ever near, still missed, still I will always love you. Rest in Peace. Love..." she posted.

Following Walker's death Gosnell still remains close with his brothers Caleb and Cody, who will help fill in gaps for the upcoming "Fast & the Furious 7."

"Maybe one day she'll be ready to talk about Paul but she's not there yet," Gosnell's father told the Daily Mail. "She's trying to deal with her loss - it's been very hard for her. But she has her family and we're trying to help and support her as much as we can."
