In a new clip from the upcoming Lifetime series "True Tori," Dean McDermott opened up about some of his marriage issues with Tori Spelling. McDermott complained to a therapist about infrequent sex with Spelling and said when the two did have sex it wasn't "fantastic."

"We have four kids, so in the sex department there were ebbs and flows. Is that safe to say?" he asked looking at his wife.

In response, Spelling said the two had a "great relationship and we had a great sex life."

However, McDermott didn't see it that way and told the therapist that they only had sex "once every week."

"It wasn't fantastic," he added.

Spelling threw her arms up in defeat.

"Dean, your expectation of what a marriage is supposed to be like sexually - it's like a fairytale," the therapist told him.

In the clip, the former "90210" actress broke down in tears as she told the therapist that she could never give her husband enough sex.

"He's never going to be happy with just me," Spelling cried.

News broke of the affair broke in December 2013. While McDermott was away in Toronto he had an affair with 28-year-old Emily Goodhand. Months after the cheating scandal made headlines, the actor checked into rehab for sex addiction.

In another clip for the upcoming Lifetime series, Spelling recalled the moment her publicist told her about the affair.

"I got a call from my publicist and she said, 'I just want to tell you something. It's a girl, and she's claiming that she had an affair with Dean in Toronto when he was there,'" Spelling told the camera. "The girl has come forward. She's put her name to the story. She's giving all the details about her two-day affair with your husband in Toronto, and it's going to come out next week, Christmas.'"

In her first interview following the cheating scandal, Spelling told US Weekly (which was first to report on McDermott's affair) that her husband's affair "completely broke my heart."

"True Tori" premieres Apr. 22 at 10 p.m. on Lifetime.
