A 31-year-old Michigan woman was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole in the murder of her boyfriend in their Jackson apartment in 2012, but not before receiving some extremely harsh words from the judge, Opposing Views reported.

Jackson County Circuit Judge John McBain told Camia Gamet at Wednesday's sentencing that the slaying was among the worst "cold-blooded murders" he had seen, MyFoxDetroit.com reported.

Marcel Hill was beaten and stabbed to death May 18 with a filet knife.

Gamey confessed that she stabbed her boyfriend, Marcell Hill, in self-defense during the trial. However, after the prosecution revealed a different story, Gamet was found guilty of murder by a jury.

According to Opposing Views, Gamet rolled her eyes and even laughed before making an extremely rude remark to Hill's grieving aunt who was speaking about her murdered nephew during the sentence hearing.

"Is that it?" Gamet asked as Hill's aunt Diana Banks-Joiner spoke.

Not at all amused by Gamet's behavior, McBain spoke some harsh words and was less than gentle in reading out her sentence.

"You're going to shut your mouth or I'm going to have some duct tape put on it," said Judge McBain to a smirking Gamet. "She [Banks-Joiner] has a right to talk to the court after you murdered a relative of hers."

He continued, "You gutted him like a fish in that apartment. You were relentless. You stabbed. You stabbed. You stabbed. You stabbed. You stabbed until he was dead. I agree with the family. I hope you die in prison as well. You know, if this was a death penalty state, you'd be getting the chair."

Hill's family expressed relief and happiness by the court's verdict on Gamet, Fox News reported.

"That's her true colors," said Banks-Joiner. "You saw the true Camia today."

"God is good," said Jennifer Johnson, one of Hill's cousins. "We all got what we wanted."
