Columbus Short's wife has filed for divorced after alleging that the "Scandal" actor pulled a knife out on her threatening to kill her and then kill himself. Tuere Tanee Short claims in court documents that Columbus attacked her in their home on Apr. 7.

According to Radar Online, Tuere recounted the horrifying night to a Los Angeles court on Apr. 14 where she filed for a temporary restraining order against Columbus. In the court documents, obtained by Radar, Tuere said that she was on the phone with the actor's personal assistant when an intoxicated Columbus walked into the room "with a wine bottle and stared at me threateningly."

"He then charged me, grabbed the phone, and started yelling at me abusively," Tuere wrote, according to Radar. "He lunged at me a few times and acted as if he was about to hit me with the bottle. I tried to get away from him but he followed me. He then cornered me and dumped the wine on me."

Tuere, who married the actor in 2005, said she made her way to the stairs and Columbus almost pushed her over the railing but she was able to catch herself. Once they both made their way downstairs, the 33-year-old former dancer said her husband ran to the kitchen and grabbed a knife.

"He then pinned me on the couch and began to choke me," she continued. "He placed the knife close to my neck and threatened to kill me and then kill himself. He insisted that we play a game he called 'Truth or Truth' and told me if I lied to him he was going to stab me in the leg."

Tuere said Columbus started to name guys he believed she was having an affair with and every time she denied the accusations, he would stab the couch or other nearby furniture.

"He placed the knife next to my throat two more times and again threatened to kill both of us," Tuere wrote in the court documents.

Eventually she was able to get their two-year-old daughter and leave but alleges that the actor followed her and slashed her tire before she was able to pull out of the driveway.

This isn't the first the actor has been accused of domestic violence. Tuere claims Columbus threatened her two other times earlier this year. He is also facing charges for getting into a bar fight that left the alleged victim in the hospital.
