The "Big Bang Theory" and "Lucasfilm" are teaming up for a fitting "Star Wars: May the fourth be with you" celebration.

"May the forth be with you" is a pun from the sci-fi franchise's famous line for jedi knights, "may the force be with you."  According to The Hollywood Reporter, the "Star Wars" inspired episode will air on May 1.

"We were approached by the Lucasfilm people to do something to celebrate Star Wars Day, which was nice," Chuck Lorre, "Big Bang Theory" co-creator, told THR.

The "Big Bang Theory" will come with a lot more "Star Wars" references than usualm but will also feature special effects to bring the "may the fourth be with you" celebration to life.

"This was all from us," showrunnr Steve Molaro told THR from the set during production on the episode. "They're excited about everything we're doing, and they're going to help us with the special effects. Bob is going to be swinging a light saber around and they sent us a real one to use. They're going to help make it look and sound right. It's an amazing crossover for us."

Lucasfilm VFX guru Eddie Pasquarello served as a consultant for "Big Bang Theory" to make sure the show's effects were on par to the "Star Wars" franchise.

"We at ILM were very excited to do the effects for it. Everyone loves the show there and to have the tie-in to May the Fourth felt like a good synergy and marriage. We jumped at it," Pasquarello told THR. "We did talk about what the set would look like and they sent us pictures of the light saber hilt and the Dagobah set and we were impressed. We talked about the interactive lighting for the light saber and some of the ideas that were there. They did an amazing job of getting it together."
