Keith Jackson, the former president of San Francisco's Board of Education, is accused of involvement in a murder-for-hire plan and gun- and drug-trafficking conspiracy, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

Jackson's son, 28-year-old Brandon Jamell Jackson, is also accused of the same charges by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The former education official currently runs Jackson Consultancy, which has helped state Sen. Leland Yee raise money for campaigns since 2011. Yee was arrested on Wednesday in the sting as well.

According to SFWeekly, Yee participated in the illegal firearms deal with the help of Jackson. Additionally, the murder conspiracy involved Marlon Sullivan, a 29-year-old sports agent.

Sullivan is accused of participation in a murder-for-hire plot, gun trafficking, a drug-trafficking conspiracy, and the sale of fraudulent credit cards.

The affidavit listing the charges against Yee, both Jacksons, Sullivan, and 16 others details a story involving money, drugs, firearms, and murder.

Sullivan and Brandon Jackson allegedly assisted Keith Jackson in a plot to deliver "a large amount of weapons" to marijuana dealers working with Raymond "Shrimp Boy" Chow -- a former Chinatown "gangster," SFWeekly said, and current president of the Supreme Lodge of Chinese Freemasons of the World in San Francisco.

The three men also is accused of selling "various types of firearms" and "two ballistic vests" to an undercover agent.
