Charlie Sheen's most recent ex-wife, Brooke Mueller, is heading back to rehab, her rep said in a statement according to USA Today.

Mueller, whose children are currently staying with Sheen's other ex, Denise Richards, was rumored to have given up the twins on Thursday due to home drug use. TMZ reported the twins were removed when L.A. County deemed her home as an "unsafe environment." Mueller's rep confirmed that Mueller has been in the hospital since Friday, undergoing addiction treatment.

"Despite reports to the contrary, Brooke is currently at UCLA Medical Center where she has been since being admitted May 3," rep Steve Honig said in the statement. "Brooke will be there for several more days, and will likely transition directly into a residential treatment facility to get help for prescription drug abuse."

Mueller and Sheen's twins, Bob and Max, are staying with Richards, Mueller's rep confirmed. According to TMZ, Sheen and Richards were in court, Tuesday to discuss temporary custody of the 4-year-old boys. Sheen reportedly approves of the custody arrangement.

Mueller was hospitalized for an addiction to Adderall in December, US Weekly reported. The actress, real estate professional and "Extra" special correspondent has been noted in social circles with Richards and Paris Hilton. Mueller was featured on Hilton's reality show "The World According to Paris," in 2012.

Sheen and Mueller's tumultuous relationship involved Sheen's arrest in 2009 when Sheen allegedly attacked Mueller at a Colorado ski resort. Sheen filed for divorce from Mueller in 2010, two years in to the marriage and one year after the birth of their sons.
