Haylee Moulder said she paid Nick Berry of The Wolf of Roofing more than $20,000 after her home in Broken Arrow was damaged by extreme weather during the Father's Day storms in June 2023.

She recalled a tree falling in her backyard during the Father's Day storms, damaging her windows, roof, fence, and storage building.

Moulder said she does not want anybody else to fall victim to a scam and wants to alert others about the company because she knows that extreme weather could damage more homes.

She claimed that her family has lived in this house for over 50 years through four generations.

"This house is all I have ever known, it's all my kids have ever known, we're the only ones that have ever lived here, this house and it's just falling apart," she said.

Her brother, who she claimed only vaguely knew Berry, suggested that Berry fix her house and roof.

Moulder said he came out, took pictures, and did everything, which seemed great. She noted that he was the only one getting things done for them then, so he said he needed the first check to cash.

However, it has been several months, and the roof has not been fixed, even after she claims to have given him two insurance checks totaling $22,000.

She explained that her brother had acquired all of the money, and then it was just another excuse after another excuse. Almost a year after this happened, she still hasn't done anything.

Several negative Yelp reviews of his business and complaints from customers with similar situations exist. According to court documents, he was ordered to pay someone over $9,000 last year after taking $10,000 without fixing their roof.

Moulder said her heart sank when she saw those reviews after giving him money.

Furthermore, she expressed fear that nothing would get done in her house. She claimed that she had reached out to him and only gave her excuses for why these cases were brought up, but she still gave him the benefit of the doubt.
