The Rolling Stones have not lost any of their stage presence 60 years after their debut tour in the United States.

The seasoned rock band will kick off a 16-city tour on April 28, 2024, in Houston in support of their critically acclaimed new album, Hackney Diamonds, and to perform songs from their enormous back catalog.

Las Vegas, Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles will all be on the itinerary for the AARP-sponsored stadium tour. On May 2, 2024, the band will make an exception to perform at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

Ticketmaster.com will begin selling them at 10:00 AM local time on December 1.

In September 2021, after a 16-month pandemic hiatus, the band returned to stadium stages for the continuation of their No Filter tour.

(L-R) Keith Richards, Ron Wood, and Mick Jagger of the legendary British rock band, The Rolling Stones pose as they arrive to attend a launch event for their new album, "Hackney Diamonds" at Hackney Empire in London on September 6, 2023, their first album of original material since 2005.

'Hackney Diamonds'

Thanks to Hackney Diamonds, the band's first studio album since 2005, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood are enjoying something of a studio revival.

After its first week of sales, the album topped the charts in both the United Kingdom and the US, entering at rank #3 on the Billboard 200 and the top spot in the UK, according to USA Today. The track Angry was nominated for a Grammy on February 4, 2024, in the category of best rock song. The group has won three times overall.

As the Stones' first album after the passing of Charlie Watts (drummer) in 2021, Hackney Diamonds is especially significant.

Songs from the record were performed for the first time during an invitation-only event last month at the Racket NYC club, where the band played to a few hundred people. They performed many fresh new pieces and leaned into oldies like Shattered and Jumpin' Jack Flash. Jagger was joined by Lady Gaga for a roaring duet on the album tune Sweet Sounds of Heaven, which can be heard on the album itself.
