World heads of state and representatives of government will attend amidst multiple global crises such as Russia's illegal war against Ukraine, and the climate emergency.

During the UN General Assembly (Sept. 19), U.S. President Joe Biden decided to encourage world leaders to support Ukraine in its ongoing war against Russia.

Aside from them, Biden is also hoping that his statements will change the minds of Republicans in the U.S. Congress.

According to Reuters' latest report, Joe Biden decided to take advantage of the UN General Assembly to appeal to world leaders to stand with Ukraine.

POTUS made strong statements about Russia's invasion of Ukraine

"Russia believes that the world will grow weary and allow it to brutalize Ukraine without consequence," said the American leader.

"If we allow Ukraine to be carved up, is the independence of any nation secure?" Biden asked the world leaders present at the UN General Assembly.

POTUS received applause after saying that the United States will continue to work with allied countries to stand with Ukraine as it tries to achieve freedom once again.

Aside from this, Biden also mentioned Russia, saying that the Kremlin is solely responsible for the ongoing war in Ukraine.

He added that the Russian government alone has the power to put an end to the invasion. Ever since the Russia-Ukraine war started, Biden has been making efforts to encourage other countries to support Kyiv.

He explained that the U.S. and its allies should send a strong message to Vladimir Putin that Russia doesn't have enough capability to outlast the West.
