A selection of "Roblox" toys are seen on a display at the annual "Toy Fair" at Olympia London on January 22, 2019 in London, England. The Toy Fair is the UK’s largest dedicated game and hobby event and aims to showcase the most anticipated products for the year ahead.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the U.S. Park Police arrested a man at the Fort Mason Center in San Francisco on Sunday, Sept. 10.

The man turned out to be Roblox developer "Simbuilder" (real name Mikhail Olson). The Park Police said they had already received a warning on Saturday, Sept. 9, regarding a security concern related to RDC 2023.

Sgt. Thomas Twiname explained that they were alerted by a police officer saying that a guy was acting disorderly.

Police authorities tried to talk to him. However, the personnel said the suspect suddenly assaulted them, leaving them no choice but to arrest him.

Twinames said that the man even told them a firearm was inside his car. Although the U.S. Park Police didn't identify the suspect, many people who were able to take a video said that it was Simbuilder.

Acquired jail records also stated that Mikhail Olson was booked on suspicion of having a concealed firearm in a vehicle, possession of ammunition, and a large capacity magazine, as well as leaving a handgun in an unattended vehicle.

Police tape hangs across the street in front of the house that Dennis Rader lives in February 26, 2005 in Park City, Kansas. Rader is the suspect whom police have arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder in connection with the 10 deaths now tied to the serial killer known as BTK.

The arrest of Simbuilder forced the Roblox Developers Conference to cancel its Roblox Innovation Awards.

"In an abundance of caution, we have decided to cancel the Roblox Innovation Awards due to a potential security concern," said the organizers via the Roblox's official X post

They added that they're working with all appropriate officials to ensure the safety of participants.

"We take safety very seriously. This is not how we wanted RDC to end," added RDC's organizers.

Many of his fans were disappointed and saddened by the situation of the "Roblox" developer.

An X user said that it is sad to see Simbuilder's situation, saying that he is hoping that the man can turn things around.

Meanwhile, others said that Simbuilder should get a psychiatrist as soon as possible. These are just some of the comments made by "Roblox" fans regarding Olson's arrest. You can click this link to see more.
