Swift's Australian fans now have a better chance of getting Eras Tour tickets.

As per a report by ABC Australia, Swift has officially added more shows to her upcoming Australian tour in Sydney and Melbourne, following "unprecedented" demand for tickets.
The Sydney Morning Herald reports that Ticketek Australia announced additional shows in its recent tweet. It says, "New shows have been added to Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour in both Melbourne & Sydney."
The multi-award-winning artist has confirmed she is gracing one additional show in Sydney. The date for the surprise addition is on February 26, 2024. The same goes for Melbourne. The sensational pop star has added one show on February 18.
Tickets for the surprise additional shows, alongside the initially announced dates, go on sale on June 30.

With the additional shows in Australia, Frontier Touring boasts that Swift is following Madonna's route in impressively playing three consecutive performances at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The Queen of Pop did a similar act way back in 1993.
Besides that, the sensational pop star is set to be the first-ever music artist to play at the Sydney Accor Stadium for four consecutive days. Swift is making history in her upcoming Australia tour.
Unfortunately for Swifties, the tour promoter says, "No further dates will be added for the Australian tour."
Aside from her additional shows, Miss Americana performs at the Melbourne MCG on February 16 and 17, 2024. As for the Sydney Accor Stadium, Swift plays for three consecutive days (Feb 23, 24, 25) before her additional show. All in all, the sensational star now has seven shows for her upcoming Australia tour.
Sky News said roughly 4 million excited Swifties tried to snag an Eras Tour ticket for her Australia leg during the pre-sale. Sad to say, for eager fans who failed to secure a seat, the pre-sales tickets promptly sold out hours after they opened to the public.
