One Washington ticket won the $754.6 million Powerball jackpot on Monday, the fifth-largest in the game's history.

The Powerball jackpot of $754.6 million was won on Monday by a single ticket purchased in Washington state. This is the fifth-largest jackpot in the game's history.

The Powerball winning numbers 5,11, 22, 23, 69, and 7 were on the winning ticket in the Powerball 2/6/23 Draw. CNN reported that it was the first Powerball jackpot win of the year.

Powerball said that the winner in the Powerball 2/6/23 Draw could choose between an annuitized payout of $754.6 million and a lump sum payment of $407.2 million.

If the winner chooses an annuity, they will get a portion payout right once and the rest spread out over 29 years, with each payment increasing by 5% yearly. The winner can also receive a lump sum reward of $407.2 million. According to the game, both Powerball jackpot prize categories include the total amount before taxes.

How Much is Next Powerball Jackpot Prize?

The lottery's website now indicates a Powerball jackpot prize of $20 million for Thursday's drawing. The last time the Powerball jackpot was won was on November 19, 2022; it was on Monday night. With no one winning, the Powerball jackpot prize grew, according to ABC News.

Powerball said that although nobody won the jackpot on Saturday, more than 2 million tickets earned $20 million in cash prizes. Four tickets, one each from Florida, New Jersey, Oregon, and Pennsylvania, got five numbers and won $1 million.

There were also sold 64 winning tickets for $50,000 and 17 lucky winners for $100,000. Powerball estimates that the probability of winning the jackpot is one in 292.2 million, per CBS News.
