Kim Kardashian shed tears as she described the difficulties of co-parenting with Kanye West.

Kim Kardashian describes co-parenting with ex-husband Kanye West as "difficult." The founder of The Skims has four children with the 45-year-old rapper Donda.

Kardashian stated on Monday's episode of the Angie Martinez IRL podcast that co-parenting with West, who legally changed his name to Ye, is "f***ing difficult."

Kardashian stated, "I had the best father, the best memories, and the greatest experiences, and that's all I want for my children as long as they can have the same."

Kardashian explained that she will be prepared for the day when her children ask questions about the controversy surrounding their father. However, the Kardashians star acknowledged that she is barely clinging to life.

The former couple started dating in 2012 and gave birth to their first child in 2013. West proposed later that year using the giant screen at the empty waterfront ballpark of the San Francisco Giants, and the couple wed on May 24, 2014, in a Renaissance-era fortress in Florence, Italy.

Since Kardashian filed for separation in February 2021, West has shared numerous social media posts about the reality star, including information about who she's been dating and how she's allegedly limited his access to his children, as per Independent.

Even if she did not directly address Ye's recent antisemitic remarks and controversies, Kardashian told Martinez that she shields their children from media attention as much as possible.

According to CNN, she is confident that their children are unaware of West's recent actions because she restricts their access to television and social media and communicates with their teachers. She added that she guards Ye "in the eyes of my children, for my children."

Kanye West Controversies

Kim Kardashian stated that she has done everything possible to shield her children from drama, going so far as to refer to their teachers as her best friends because they keep her apprised of what the children are discussing. Later, she expressed that her children will thank her in the future for not publicly criticizing their father.

Kardashian's interview follows a turbulent year for West, during which he viciously attacked her then-boyfriend Pete Davidson across multiple platforms. This past fall, he made headlines for race-related controversies when he and conservative commentator Candace Owens wore White Lives Matter t-shirts during a fashion show for his Yeezy line during Paris Fashion Week on October 3.

After tweeting on October 8, West encountered restrictions on his social media sites. In response to West's repeated anti-Semitic statements, Adidas severed ties with him on October 25 and other former associates distanced themselves from him.

Last month, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West finally settled their divorce after an ugly public battle that raged on for almost two years since they split. The couple has reached an agreement regarding custody of their four children, parenting plans, and division of their multimillion-dollar real estate investments.

According to the outlet, West and Kardashian agreed to attend mediation in the event of a parental dispute. Should one not attend the session, the attending parent will get to decide on the topic at hand, according to Daily Mail.
