Kim Kardashian finally opened up about the controversial Balenciaga ad campaign that was criticized for sexualizing younger generation.

After receiving harsh criticism for a campaign that featured kids holding teddy bears while dressed as bondage victims, Kim Kardashian revealed Sunday night that she is "re-evaluating" her partnership with Balenciaga.

The acronym BDSM, which stands for bondage, discipline, domination, submission, and sadomasochism, was used in a Balenciaga advertisement that featured youngsters cradling teddy bears while wearing leather clothing.

Kim Kardashian is 'Disgusted' With Balenciaga Holiday Ad Campaign

A little youngster was shown carrying a bear that had a lock and chain around its neck as well as wrist and ankle shackles, according to Washington Post.

"Not because I haven't been disgusted and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaigns, but because I wanted an opportunity to speak to their staff to see for myself how this could have happened," Kim Kardashian claimed she held out with speaking out.

In response to the criticism, Balenciaga posted a message to its Instagram story last week apologizing in the strongest possible terms for any offense that their holiday campaign may have caused.

The reality star and former Balenciaga ambassador said she was "currently re-evaluating my relationship with the brand, basing it on their willingness to accept accountability for something that should have never happened in the first place - & the actions I am expecting to see them take to protect children."

Requests for response to Kardashian's claims were not immediately answered by Balenciaga or its parent firm, Kering. Fans of Kim Kardashian have flooded her Instagram page with comments urging her to condemn Balenciaga for their scandalous ad campaign.

In an effort to get the mom-of-four to criticize the fashion label, fans bombarded her Instagram with comments and criticized her for remaining silent, Mirror reported. The founder of Skims is in trouble with her followers since they appear to be disregarding the content of her most recent postings and are instead commenting to urge her to criticize the fashion brand.

Kim Kardashian, Balenciaga Ties

Per Daily Mail, Kim Kardashian has already appeared in a number of Balenciaga advertising campaigns and is frequently spotted wearing the brand at important events.

Kardashian, who seems to walk on water in the fashion house's fall 2022 ad, is essentially the brand's face in terms of fashion. She is also the brand's greatest fan. Kardashian's ex-husband, Kanye West, famously introduced her to Demna Gvasalia, the creative director of Balenciaga. The couple's daughters have also been photographed wearing the brand and carrying expensive handbags from the company.

In December 2021, when she collected a fashion award at the People's Choice Awards, she commented about the part her ex-husband had had in the couple's relationship.

More recently, she was seen conversing with head designer Demna in the Season 2 finale of Hulu's 'The Kardashians', which aired last week. She discussed how her relationship with Balenciaga began with West but developed over time during the program.

At Paris Fashion Week in July 2022, Kardashian posed for the company and walked the runway. She was last seen sporting the brand while sporting an Adidas x Balenciaga collaboration top, two of the brands that abandoned her ex-boyfriend West, 45, after his recent anti-Semitic outbursts.

She was dressed in a top from the two designers' joint collection; it was a long-sleeved black blouse with white stripes down the sleeves and the companies' names stitched in the middle of the chest.
