Instagram, Twitter Restrict Kanye West Over SocMed Violations, Anti-Semetic Content

As a result of the rapper's antisemitic outbursts over the weekend, Kanye West's Twitter account has apparently been locked.

American rapper, Kanye West's Instagram account was suspended for breaking the platform's rules amid several ongoing controversies.

A day later, the rapper is no longer able to access his Twitter account. The action was taken shortly after Ye broke Twitter's rules by posting anti-Semitic material there, according to a Twitter spokeswoman.

Kanye West Posted Anti-Semetic Content

Kanye West, who returned to the microblogging platform on Saturday after an absence of more than two years, was prohibited from using Instagram for identical reasons. It came up as a result of Kanye's recent Instagram outburst in response to the White Lives Matter dispute.

The rapper has been making fun of several well-known people, including the supermodel Gigi Hadid, Sean Combs, Diddy, his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, Justin, and Hailey Bieber, and others. Kanye west shared a claimed encounter with Sean Diddy Combs on an Instagram post that has since been deleted with the remark Jesus is a Jew.

The rapper shared a screenshot of the text exchange and asserted that Combs was under Jewish influence. American Jewish Committee, an advocacy group, criticized West's remarks in an Instagram post shortly afterward for having rants laced with racist and antisemitic undertones.

It's important to remember that West has faced criticism for his social media remarks before. His Instagram account was earlier suspended for 24 hours in March after he made an inflammatory post about Trevor Noah, the anchor of The Daily Show, as per Republic World.

It was Kanye West's first tweet on the platform since 2020 and the first after his Instagram account was shut down. The fashion designer quickly shared a picture of himself with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg along with the message, Look at this Mark. How you went ban me off Instagram?

In Elon Musk's reply to the article, which also featured a murky picture of Ye and Zuckerberg, West returned to the stage. Musk is attempting to purchase Twitter. Following his comments during an interview with Tucker Carlson on Fox News, in which West accused the Jewish politician Jared Kushner of brokering the Abraham Accords for his financial gain, West has come under fire for his antisemitic statements.

Several Jewish organizations, including The American Jewish Committee, denounced Kanye West's comments. The advocacy organization criticized the rapper for utilizing stereotypical portrayals of Jews and asked him to make a point without employing antisemitism.

After wearing a White Lives Matter shirt during his Yeezy design show in Paris last week, West drew ire from activists and famous people. Actor Jaden Smith, who reportedly left his YZYSZN9 program, and Ahmaud Arbery's mother, Wanda Cooper-Jones, both immediately expressed their disapproval of West for wearing the shirt in a photo with conservative commentator Candace Owens, according to Insider.

Lizzo Slams Kanye West

During her concert in Toronto on Friday, Lizzo answered Kanye West's criticisms of her physique, a day after the rapper from Heartless claimed she was being used to advance what A genocide of the Black race, he described it as.

On Thursday, West claimed to Tucker Carlson of Fox News that whenever Lizzo makes a weight-loss announcement on social media, "bots and media" attack her to spread the myth that being overweight is the new objective.

Lizzo posted a clip from a recent gig on Instagram over the weekend, perhaps making her position clear. A spotlight was shining on the performer's face in the video as an illuminated message flashed across her body.

She was covered in the phrase "My body, my choice," and she added just a period to the caption. Since wearing a t-shirt that read White Lives Matter during his Paris Fashion Week show, Ye has caused quite a stir.

The two were wearing opposite colors of the same shirt and were standing next to the contentious political commentator Candace Owens. Following that, there was an avalanche of criticism on social media from fans and celebrities, with some praising Kanye and others decrying him.

However, Kanye West has maintained his stance and has continued to wear iterations of the shirt, most recently joining ex-wife Kim Kardashian at North Kardashian's (9-year-old) basketball game, Daily Mail reported.
