New Zealand parents excited to name their newborns "Prince", "Princess", or "Justice", well... you can't.

According to CNN, New Zealand's Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages has released a growing list of baby names that are banned in the country.

"Christ", "Messiah", and "Lucifer" are just a few of the names that the agency will not legalize. The list was put in place because of a growing concern for the welfare of children.

And if you are questioning the seriousness of Lucifer, CNN reports that the agency turned down a number of requests. In the past 12 years, six sets of parents wanted to name their child, "Lucifer".

Names like "Mafia No Fear" and "Anal" were rejected because they "cause offense to a reasonable person", are "unreasonably long", or "resemble" an official title and rank'", Huffington Post reported.

Punctuation marks are quite trendy amongst parents, such as the period and the asterisk symbol. Names containing slashes and brackets are also prohibited.

And still, "Justice" is the most popular banned name in New Zealand. The name has been rejected 62 times since 2001. According to the Daily News, parents got a bit creative and tried "Justus" and "Juztice". Both names were rejected, as well.

Pop-culture flashback to the name used in the movie "Poetic Justice", played by singer Janet Jackson. "Justice" was also used in Kendrick Lamar's single, "Poetic Justice", referencing Janet Jackson's character.

Ironically, a few names missed New Zealand's strict ban. "Midnight Chardonnay", "Number 16 Bus Shelter", and "Violence" have been approved by the agency.

"Talula Does the Hula from Hawaii" was also approved but was later changed by the courts in 2008.

Before New Zealand parents send out "new baby" invitations, they may want to think about their child's future and then check the country's registrar.
