"The Stylin', profilin', limousine riding, jet flying, kiss-stealing, wheelin' n' dealin' son of a gun" recently talked to members of the press in Nashville to promote his Last Match.

Though, the 73-year-old co-founder of iconic stables Four Horsemen and Evolution expressed some concerns about his health issues in the past that may occur during the bout.

The Hall of Famer said he is worried about several health issues like his pacemaker, inner ear problems, and the possible effect of blood thinners. but "The Nature Boy," said he's not too concerned about any of it, stating that he won't take his blood thinner medicine that day, and if his pacemaker falls unplugged, he will just "put it back in."

In 2017, Flair suffered from a grave health issue that included being in a medically induced coma, per the New York Post.

According to TMZ Sports, the 16-time world champion has been cleared to compete by his doctors for a showdown in the wrestling ring.

The Nature Boy is Ready To Fly

Flair explained that if the crowd is large and loud, he will push himself beyond his boundaries. In preparation, he has been training with former TNA superstar Jay Lethal for the event to put on a tremendous performance.

Flair said: "Now that I know I can do it, I'll be flying around if there are 7,000 people." Hence, resounding "Woooooo" chants from the fans are expected throughout the match.

"Jim Crockett Promotions Presents: Ric Flair's Last Match"  event would take place on Sunday, July 31 at the Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee, during Starrcast V weekend. The three-hour event will be shown live on FITE TV and several packages are available for the festivities.

Who is Flair's Final Opponent?

However, as of present reporting, Flair is searching for his last opponent. He says it does not matter if it is a superstar wrestler or not as long as he can "do the work."

Wrestling Inc. reported that it was originally planned for Ric Flair to face his former rival Ricky Steamboat, who expressed eagerness to participate in the event.However, the two parties were unable to agree on a date.

But a former WWE Superstar has accepted Flair's challenge on social media, per Sportskeeda.

CJ Perry, who was known in the WWE as Lana, tweeted that she wants to fight Flair in his retirement match.

"Sigh* OK, I'll do it," CJ Perry said in a tweet.

Starrcast Events captured Perry's post but they could neither confirm nor deny if she would be Ric Flair's opponent. Hence, fans have to wait for updates on the matter.

Aside from Ric Flair's last match, there will be several matches at the "Jim Crockett Promotions Presents: Ric Flair's Last Match" event during Starrcast V weekend, per Wrestling Headlines.

The Impact Wrestling Knockouts World Title will be defended. Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace will face Deonna Purrazzo and Rachael Ellering in a Triple Threat match.

Jacob Fatu will attempt to win the Impact World Title from champion Josh Alexander, while The Wolves (Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards) will go against The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley) in a tag-team battle.
