Moscow says the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), where the offensive continues, is under its control, and the Ukrainians are retreating, while Ukraine denies losing more territory. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov speaks during a joint press conference in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.

Moscow reports that it has military control via the campaign in the Donetsk People's Republic is almost complete, but Ukrainian forces are attacking civilians.

According to sources, the Donbas town with the burned-down wood monastery is freed from Kyiv's clutches. Russia and its allies have been defeating Zelensky's forces that are getting militarily overwhelmed.

Ukrainian Forces Retreat

Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu on Tuesday said that 15 communities are under their control, reported RT.

The Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) asserts Svyatogorsk as part of its territory, located on the left bank of the Severny Donetsk river.

Skete of All Saints, a landmark wooden monastery in the town, was set on fire and razed to the ground last week. Russia alleged Ukrainian forces of setting fire to the building to conceal their escape. This incident has been blamed on Russian troops by Ukrainian officials, per the Press United.

Russian Defense Ministry asserted on Monday that enemy troops had blasted up the bridge in the same town, slashing the shortest road link between the town's main north portion and the rest of the DPR territory.

Shoigu added the success of the offensive against Kyiv has 97% territory, which is part of Lugansk. He confirmed that Moscow forces control all Severodonetsk residential parts, and combat is in the city's industrial outskirts.

Ukrainians are surrendering in droves, rarely fighting, a total of 6,489 POWS are in custody like in the Donetsk People's Republic.

The city is where the Kyiv-appointed administration of Lugansk is under fire from LPR forces. Combat was intense as LPR militias and Russian forces hammered the enemy, noted Hi India.

Kyiv officials alleged that a trap to destroy was set for Russians allowed to enter the city. According to Sergey Gaiday, the head of the Kyiv-allied administration, Ukrainian troops were able to retain as much as half of the city at one point but retreated.

Zelensky Denies Loss

Experts assert the events in Severodonetsk are a repeat of the humiliation of Kyiv in Mariupol, where Putin's forces triumph and the DPR is in control. The Azov nazis had holed themselves up in the Azovstal plant when Russians locked them in and separated them from the main force. Surrendered in the end as the Severodonetsk garrison and the Azot chemical plant were cornered by Russians.

The Russian minister said Mariupol, which the DPR fully seized last month, was gradually returning to peace.

News from the Defense Ministry and Russian railway monopoly RZhD stated that rails are ready for travel to Russia, Donbas, Ukraine, and Crimea, added Shoigu. Also, shipments were moving to Mariupol, Berdyansk, and Kherson that Kyiv lost, and this rail system is 1,200 km long as well.

Moscow, according to Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, confirmed that the Donetsk People's Republic is close to Russian control, while Volodymyr Zelensky is keeping the substantial losses of Ukrainian forces from the press.
