Time may not exist if a hypothesis is proven by several new theories that will redefine what reality for everyone is.

For many, here and now, which is the product of the past, present, and future, is what reality is. What happens if these concepts are upended and cause a chain reaction that eliminates the flow of time.

Physics Declares Time Never Existed

A new concept called Loop Quantum Gravity does away with notions of past, present, and future as components that might be non-existent reported Science Alert.

But the notion is discounted by a clock or calendar as proof of progression from a given point.

Physics might show that time never existed as a possibility, and it's serious. This leads to a problem of reality as experienced but life goes on.

Physics is fixed with general relativity and quantum mechanics as its savior to help explain the living universe. The quanta are the unseen particles, and their reaction is unseen at a molecular level and relativity is how gravity exists in space and perception movement, cited How Stuff Works

Although the two theories are correct, they are fundamentally opposed to each other. They are naturally conflicting that need a new concept to stop the disconnect between them.

Formulating a new notion of quantum gravity reconciles the big picture and the minute reaction of particles. One of these new theories is quantum gravity, to begin with; one such is the string theory noted in The Conversation. This theory postulates that invisible strings, not particles connecting 11 dimensions and time, do not exist.

But the string theory does not explain how the universe works and has no verifiable results for a model to describe it. The concept of loop quantum gravity, as mentioned in Space, is a result of the schism in the 80s and 90s that did not have a mathematical equation for quantum gravitation.

LQG says that the fabric of space-time is not a plane but a network of chunks (loops) connected or not. It takes out time from the equation that is not linear anymore.

One of these is Emergent time which refutes the existence of time and might explain the cosmos. If the concept proves that a reality called time exists, what does exist truly connote. The existence of Objects is not explained wholly, but they there made of particles, though it does not explain why it is solid. No Loss in Time

One conundrum is without time, objects won't exist, and getting around without things and no time is a dangerous predicament.

There is a past, present, and future built on time, and all actions from the past impact the future. Most could be seen as agents of time that can affect the outcome of a distinct future relative to the past.

As entities that affect the time needed for a future that everyone needs, it's hard not to expect a future. If the new physics takes out time but has causation to let the agent or agency still interact in acceptable terms,time may not exist. However, these new theories will still have causation as a loophole for agents to affect outcomes.
