The Undertaker officially gets inducted to the WWE Hall of Fame before professional wrestling's grandest stage WrestleMania.

For three decades, The Undertaker, whose real name is Mark Calaway, had an astounding career, winning multiple titles and a legendary WrestleMania Streak of 21 wins.

The long-time WWE superstar made another milestone by cementing his legacy in sports-entertainment history as he headlines the 2022 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, which also inducted other iconic wrestlers like former tag champions the Steiner Brothers and the late great Vader.

WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon inducted The Undertaker into the 2022 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony held at the American Center in Dallas as part of WrestleMania week.

The Undertaker, who stands at 6 feet and 10 inches tall, weighing 300 pounds was widely known throughout his career for his tough-guy persona and supernatural presence.

However, during Friday's star-studded ceremony, the "Deadman" was not able to hold back his emotions as he accepted his well-deserved honor in front of an audience chanting "You deserve it" according to a report from Inside Ropes.

In his speech, the seven-time WWE champion looked back at his journey in the wrestling industry while being surrounded by his four iconic coats and hats that provided his signature looks and indicated his character's longevity.

"The Phenom" closed his legendary speech by wearing one of his costumes. Then he electrified the audience with the line "Never say never," teasing a possible return to the ring sooner or later.

Stellar Career

Calaway started his pro-wrestling career in the late 1980s. His first match was in World Class Championship Wrestling in June 1987 according to Players Bio.

Before the decade ended, he signed up with World Championship Wrestling and wrestled as Mean Mark Callous, a morbid villain character. But when the TV show's audience declined in 1980, he had second thoughts about his future with the company and eventually moved to WWE in 1990 to become The Undertaker, a death-themed character, who puts his defeated opponent in a body bag or casket.

Throughout his career, he had memorable rivalries with fellow wrestling greats such as Hulk Hogan, The Ultimate Warrior, Ric Flair, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Mankind, Kane, Brock Lesnar, and Triple H.

Before he retired from wrestling in November 2020, The Undertaker had his last WWE match against AJ Styles in a Boneyard Match in WrestleMania 36. The Hall of Famer emerged as the victor by burying Styles alive during the cinematic battle.
