Kansas authorities scheduled a press conference on Monday afternoon to release "significant updates" on the death of Cici's Pizza owner Harold Sasko, cjonline.com reported.

Sasko, 52, who owned three Cici's Pizza locations in Kansas, was found dead on Jan. 17 in his home. Police found him when they went to check on Sarah Brooke Gonzalez McLinn, a 19-year-old woman who was living with Sasko and hadn't been heard from since Jan. 14.

Officials said Sasko died of traumatic injuries but have not released further details on the cause of death.

On Saturday, McLinn was located by law enforcement in Florida with Sasko's car. She appeared to be unharmed, according to Lawrence Sgt. Trent McKinley.

"We've not put a label on her," McKinley said to People magazine about McLinn before she was found. "We had two individuals who reside at the same home: one a victim of a violent death, and the other is missing."

Michelle Gonzales, the girl's mother, claimed her daughter "is a victim" and that police said the attack on Sasko seemed too brutal for McLinn to have performed on her own.

"The police did say that even if Sarah was involved, she could not have acted alone based on the traumatic injuries Mr. Sasko suffered," Gonzales said. "This makes us even more convinced that Sarah is a victim. We do not know what happened, but we want Sarah to know that we love her and we are here for her and we have help for her if she needs it. We want the person or persons who have Sarah to let her call home and come home."

Robert McLinn, the girl's father, said when he last spoke with his daughter on Jan. 12 that "everything appeared to be fine."

Media reports claim Sasko invited McLinn to stay with him to give her stability. Kimberly Qualls, Sasko's ex-girlfriend, told People that he offered McLinn to stay with him to get her away from drugs and friends in gangs.
