Zombie fans won't have to suffer through the Super Bowl because AMC announced their first-ever "Zombie Bowl." The Humans vs. Walkers showdown will happen Super Bowl Sunday (Feb. 2) starting at 10 a.m. ET.

AMC will be showing every episode from Seasons 1 and 2 of "The Walking Dead." The following Sunday, the network will air episodes from Seasons 3 and 4 leading up to the show's big return on Feb. 9 at 9 p.m. ET.

"Fans of 'The Walking Dead,' TV's #1 non-sports show, won't be left out on one of television's biggest nights of the year. Every Humans vs. Walkers moment from 'The Walking Dead's' season one and two will run in a marathon all the way through the big game," AMC wrote.

A Zombie Bowl promo was released which shows Shane (Jon Bernthal) giving the "team" a nice, little pep-talk as Daryl (Norman Reedus) shows off his tackling and butt-kicking skills.

In other "Walking Dead" news a lot of spoilers have been leaked about the second half of Season 4. So far it sounds like the show's return will bring lots of drama, action-packed scenes and a major death.

It was revealed that both Daryl and Carl will have their own stand-alone episodes. Andrew Lincoln (who plays Rick Grimes) told Comicbook.com that he's really excited for fans to see Carl step up to the plate and he thinks it'll be "one of the best episodes" of the season.

Also, we know that three new characters from Robert Kirkman's comic books will be introduced during this season. Rosita, Eugene and Abraham will meet up with Rick and what's left of his team from the Prison.

Kirkman told The Hollywood Reporter that the characters will differ somewhat from how they appear in the comic books.

"I can say that their introduction will be somewhat similar to how they were introduced in the comic, which I think is a very cool thing," he said.

Another major spoiler: Carol will definitely reappear before Season 4 ends.
