Janet Jackson has confirmed her separation from her husband Wissam Al Mana. She posted a video on Twitter on Monday confirming their split and also announced the new name of her world tour as she has changed its title.

Janet Jackson has opened up about her relationship status with Wissam Al Mana. According to US Weekly, the 50-year-old-singer posted a video on Twitter on Monday wherein she confirmed her split from her husband. Jackson said that they have separated and the matter is being heard in court. However, before breaking this bad news she talked about her baby and thanked God for gifting her Eissa.

In the video clip, Janet Jackson is seen saying that fans may not recognize her as she has put on some weight because of the baby but she was also thankful to the almighty. She said that her baby is healthy and loving and then confirmed her separation. However, she followed it up with another good news saying that she will continue with her world tour and she has decided to change its name.

Janet Jackson revealed that she had changed it from "Unbreakable" to "The State of the World Tour," claimed Entertainment Tonight. She also clarified that she was not motivated by political reasons to do so as her tour is just about love and she is very excited to meet her fans when she takes on stage on Sept. 7. Notably, Jackson had postponed her world tour last year as she and Wissam Al Mana were planning their family.

It is worth mentioning here that Janet Jackson tied the knot with Qatar businessman Wissam Al Mana in a secret ceremony in 2012. The couple has been fiercely private about their relationship and it was only last year that Jackson revealed that she was expecting. She gave birth to son Eissa in January 2017 and in the beginning of April rumors of her split started doing the rounds.
