In addition to "Rare Objects" by Kathleen Tessaro, Holmes is also set to direct one of the episodes from the upcoming season of the "Kennedys mini series." In a recent interview, Holmes revealed that she took almost an year to prepare for her directorial debut.

Holmes further said that she and her team knew exactly what they were trying to make. The project took off quite well and there were a lot of great people on board who made the project a reality. According to Holmes, directing for the first time was a hard, yet a great experience.

The year 2016 has focused particularly well on Holmes, especially for her successful and busy career following her divorce with actor Tom Cruise. In addition, she has been in the limelight for having a secret affair with Foxx.

Foxx and Holmes have kept mum about the kind of bond that their share. While they keep on insisting that it is nothing but friendship, speculations are high that they are in love and may even ties the knot pretty soon.
