After months of rumors indicating that the show will be canceled, many fans can now heave a sigh of relief that "The Big Bang Theory" Season 11 will return.

CBS chief Glen Geller confirmed the development in an interview with TVLine. Lead Tstars Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki have reportedly confirmed their return. However, it is uncertain whether Jim Parsons will return to the show. Recent reports indicated that the famous actor, playing Sheldon Cooper, has a very tight schedule and would like to exit the show to prepare for a spin-off and other Hollywood projects next year.

Meanwhile, there is also news that Parsons' contract has expired and he is asking for a higher fee to renew his contract for Season 11. Now it waits to be seen whether CBS can afford the high-maintenance actor.

Meanwhile, there is also speculation that as Season 11 is expected to progress in terms of storyline, fans wonder if Amy and Sheldon will eventually get married. If the speculation is indeed true, it automatically cancels the rumor about Parsons' exit from the show. There is also expectation about Penny and Leonard to move out from their apartment with Sheldon to start his own lives.

However, as much as fans would hate that, there is also speculation that Amy Farrah Fowler would have to let her boyfriend, Sheldon Cooper, go. Rumor has it that not only is Parsons eyeing Hollywood, he is also unhappy with the paycheck of $1 million. As Cuoco and Galecki decide to renew their contracts, Parsons' is yet to decide.

As the production team is yet to finalize the Season 11 cast, there is also news about adding new characters to the show.

According to Movie Pilot, "the Big Bang Theory" Season 11 is speculated to air in September 2017, right after season 10.
