Every season of "Mozart in the Jungle" always begins with something fresh - specifically, the opening sequence, which has seen some new refreshes every year.

But while each is unique every season, the theme song has never changed. And it feels just right for the Golden Globe-winning series, which in its 3rd official season, remains unafraid of trying new gimmicks. Yet, in the end, it rarely changes.

Following a group of professional musicians as they work hard to produce art while also make a living, "Mozart in the Jungle" has always been an extraordinarily pleasant show. It also has some complicated plotting taking a very deliberate back seat for quirky small descriptions and extended sequences that are entirely dedicated to performance and creation.

What's Next in Season 3

"Mozart in the Jungle" Season 3 begins with most known members of the New York Symphony Orchestra somewhat scattered all over different directions. That is due to contract negotiations and the intention to find work elsewhere.

This "elsewhere" would include Venice, Italy, where Hailey (Lola Kirke) would find herself assisting Rodrigo (Gael Garcia Bernal) with another ambitious piece that would feature a legendary opera singer.

In the meantime, Gloria (Bernadette Peters) attempts to hold the business of the Symphony group together. As for Thomas (Malcolm McDowell), he looks for some new opportunities and Cynthia (Saffron Burrows) continues to advocate for some new, fresh talents.

Truly Amazing Cast

There is a lot of things that makes "Mozart in the Jungle" special. This greatly includes the stable cast of actors who make up its entire production. Malcolm McDowell still remains an absolute delight for the show. McDowel plays another new breed of iconically villainous roles yet still playing a man capable and open towards discovering new experiences even in his 70s.

On the other end, Bernadette Peters has more class than any other actress out there. There are a lot of guest stars from the over-the-age-of-40 set who prove extraordinary.
