Media speculations can be stranger than real life events. Sometimes, the biggest source of entertainment for celebrities is likely to be stories of their own lives, which are probably not even remotely true or familiar to them!

The Duchess of Cambridge, therefore, may find it vastly hilarious to read about her pregnancy, twin girls, miscarriage or divorce rumors, which have all been debunked by Gossip Cop.

Recently, at the Heads Together campaign in London, Prince William talked about the stress that went with work. He explained that workplace stress can be "overwhelming" at times. He also said that his work with the East Anglian Air Ambulance Service brought down 'sad, dark moments' on him. Hence, it is important that companies should make "mental health a priority in the workplace."

He has been quoted in People: "Work, as we all know, can at times be a source of great fulfilment, growth and fun, but also at times a significant source of stress sometimes - if we are honest, to the point of its being overwhelming. I have also seen how an employer can create an environment where it is as unremarkable to talk about feeling a bit 'down' as it is to admit to having a cold."

To most cynics and disbelievers of royalty, such a statement would be a bit of a puzzle, say media critics. Commoners would not really agree that Prince William has done anything to earn either his royal title or claim the stress of being "overwhelmed by work."

Hence, the speech is said to have stirred criticism among a number of people, both outside and inside the palace. While any comment from outsiders cannot be doubted, the words are said to have knocked even some insiders. However, while it might rouse the public that is convinced that he doesn't have too much of workplace stress, why would the Duchess of Cambridge, his wife, feel puzzled at his statements?

Would she actually disbelieve his comments, as celebdirtylaundry claims?

The website pointed out that live a "luxurious lifestyle and do very little to earn it. In fact, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have long been called the laziest couple in the monarchy's history."

And why is he "personalizing his message," is the question. As he is said to be involved in some kind of work just "two or sometimes three times per week," it is well known that he stays more at home with his wife Kate and their two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, than he does at any workplace.

Does the royal couple have any idea of real workplace stress, of 40 to 50 hours per week? It isn't likely.

But if the media is probably the biggest doubting Thomas, how can it claim that the Duchess thought so too?

Whether the royal couple works or does not work as much as a British taxpayer could be grist for their mill. But how they claim to understand what went on Princess Kate's mind, or Queen Elizabeth's - who is reported to be extremely cut up with the couple's reluctance to "work", remains a mystery. The media cannot claim to be a soothsayer or astrologer. So how they claim that Kate is surprised?
