Nintendo Switch Update: Secret feature, more games revealed ahead of release date

Nintendo has already revealed the official trailer for the Switch. It has also unveiled the actual device during a talk show. During those two events, some particular games can be seen which will be played on the Switch.

As the official release of the Nintendo Switch is coming nearer, more and more video game titles are confirmed to be playable on the much-awaited gaming console.

The trailer had showed the "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild", "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition", "NBA 2K17", "Mario Kart 8", "Splatoon", and a yet untitled game, Super Mario. It also should be noted that the trailer did not use actual game footage as the titles here are considered rumors. "Seasons of Heaven" and "Sacred Hero" are two recent titles to be included in the Switch game library.

"Seasons of Heaven" is a game based on the French Novel and the game is focused on the life of a boy named Yann and Ani and his faithful bulldog. "Sacred Hero", in the meantime will be also available to the Switch in 2018, as said by iTechPost.

A rumor is surfaced a few days ago saying GameCube titles will also run on the Switch's Virtual Console and that a trio of games - "Luigi's Mansion", "Super Mario Sunshine", and "Super Smash Bros Melee" have already been tested. Another fourth game, "Animal Crossing" is also being tested.

THQ Nordic has confirmed that it is working for making "Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy", "War Leaders: Clash of Nations", and "Legends of War" as part of the Switch stable of games.

For release, the Dark Souls 3 Nintendo Switch port will likely to launch alongside Game of the Year editions for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. In terms of the Nintendo Switch price, the console is said to cost around US$249.99, Rs 17,000 in India and 199.99 pounds in the UK, according to NDTV.
