It is now out in the open, that Brad Pitt never 'acted physical' or hit any of his family during that unfortunate, almost tragic flight to Minneapolis, reveals the flight recorder.

As there is disclosure of FAA records from the Minneapolis Air Route Traffic Control Center on September 14, it is clear that there was never a sign of any incident on the flight.

There was only "a bumpy flight caused by turbulence - not the actor," reports radaronline.

However, there have been so many stories spun around that plane journey. One source said: "He got drunk and was fighting with Angie. Maddox stepped in to defend Angie and got in Brad's face."

That single incident just got blown out of proportion. After all, children keep fighting with their parents during their turbulent teenage years. As another source close to Pitt puts it: "Teenagers have fights with their parents, especially when you have teens who are strong-willed and confident. You're going to have back and forth." But "the abuse suggestions are inaccurate."

The 41-year-old Jolie immediately filed for divorce after landing, and asked for full physical custody. The family's interactions got captured at International Falls Airport later. But it never got released.

A local radio host, though, had revealed that he heard their arguments on the plane. The drunk Pitt relieved himself on the tarmac after he got down, it had been said.

Recently, though, the LAPD cleared him of child abuse.

However, unless Angelina Jolie is completely immature or Maleficent - and the records really do not reveal her as either - she could not be filing for divorce only over a quarrel - or a non-quarrel - during a flight. It was probably just the last straw in a turbulent relationship that had been getting dirty for over a decade.

"Brad only found out about the divorce decision [the day before]," an insider said. "[Jolie] did try to make it work, but her kids come first, and she couldn't let them see Mommy and Daddy like this. The fighting got worse, and they disagreed a lot about parenting and a lot of things."

So was there more to it than a plane journey? Was there a lot of mental abuse involved through the years? It doesn't seem like it, going by the committed parenting approaches of both. However, Angelina thinks so, and her decision is poised delicately on the balance.

It is clear, though, that whoever wins, the biggest losers would be the children - no matter who they are given over to for custody.
