Previously, it was reported that actor Brad Pitt has been investigated for child abuse charges for his alleged physical and verbal abuse to his 15-year-old son Maddox Jolie-Pitt.

A few weeks later, the investigation cleared him of any physical and verbal abuse charges, as announced by the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services.

Following this, the actor's ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, was reportedly relieved to know the news.

According to Mirror UK, the Maleficent actress said she was relieved that the abuse allegations for his former husband were over, but insisted that she had to take actions for the family's health.

It can be remembered that the abuse accusations against Pitt allegedly happened days before Jolie decided to file for divorce. The LA agency came up with a conclusion that the abuse claims were unfounded.

Earlier, the former couple, together with their children were interviewed by the agency and the FBI to further know about what really happened on the private plane. Also, as part of the investigation, Pitt voluntarily took drug tests, which revealed negative results.

As reported by Fox News, the Los Angeles DCFS had to make sure all the children will be secured throughout the divorce. The actress also said that she had to take action for her children, who have been involved in the investigation for eight long weeks. Now is reportedly the time for them to heal.

When Brad Pitt was accused of verbal and physical abuse, people think he had no chance for the custody of their kids. But this time, the actor has now had a huge advantage in a joint custody that he recently filed, as a counter to Jolie's full custody request.
