The all-new "Mass Effect: Andromeda" trailer is now live, and it's pretty impressive, to say the least. While further details are scarce, the action is visibly intense and the small snippets of conversation ominous and the game itself looks absolutely stunning.

The huge aliens viewed late in the trailer were very realistic. The epic on this one is going to be much bigger and a lot more than anything we've seen in previous "Mass Effect" trailers and storylines.

The game is running on the same Frostbite engine that currently powers "Star Wars: Battlefront" and "Battlefield 1." This assured that the game would feature enhanced graphics and bigger maps.

Male Ryder

The official description of the trailer reads, "Players will embark on a one-way mission from the Milky Way to the Andromeda in order to discover and conquer distant worlds, as Ryder."

It also seems like male Ryder is at the forefront of marketing, which is very interesting. They emphasized a female Ryder previously, now it's a male and it looks pretty bad-ass.

Release Date

Andromeda is due for an official release date in March 2017 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. With the trailer released and live, Mass Effect: Andromeda is shaping up pretty well as of the moment, as per to EA CFO Blake Jorgensen. However, the publishers could possibly delay the game a bit if it feels that it is the right thing to do.

Why EA delayed Andromeda

After plans on launching the game in 2016, EA delayed Andromeda completely, only giving official statements that it would now be released during its fourth fiscal quarter, which would span from January to March.

Earlier this year, a delay until early 2017 was officially confirmed by BioWare, explaining that it will be needing the right amount of time to make sure that it will be able to deliver everything the game can be and should be.
